Events TheBeerBoy is a business set
up to provide advice and event planning service for private individuals
and corporate bodies who would like to host a
beer, wine or whisky tasting evening.
Advice If you have a question, query or
quirk that you can't resolve, please do
get in touch and we'll do our best to fix it for you. Advice costs nothing
(although consultancy does).
Writing I've maintained this website since 2003,
and have written about beer in various publications since 2004. I've just had my
first book published ("500 Beers", on Apple Press in the UK), and was the British Guild
of Beer Writers' Writer of the Year in 2008.
Consultancy Having clocked up a decade of retailing
specialist beers, I have a good feel for what works and what doesn't. Add to that a huge
amount of general beer knowledge, a strong writing pedgree, and a good academic research
background (BSc. Psych), I'd be delighted to take on original research projects, or consult on
a per diem basis.
